MiT Dimmers & LED Lighting

The Moving iMage Technologies A-LMS 24 Architectural Lighting Management System brings "smart" capabilities to theatrical, performance, and cinema auditorium general lighting. The A-LMS 24 easily recalls scene cue commands from automations, cinema servers, GPI contact closures, RS-232, or network interfaces. The A-LMS 24 is the ideal complement to any organization's green initiative program.

The A-LMS 24 is a 1U rack or wall-mountable and comes with a rear lacing bar to facilitate and support organized control cabling. The A-LMS 24 utilizes a user-friendly web interface via Ethernet for programming and status visibility.

Features:

ALF-4 & ALG-4G

The Moving iMage Technologies ALF-4 is a low-voltage LED-based downlight luminaire designed specifically for cinema auditoriums and performance spaces where providing a smooth, stable dimming range from 100% to .05% light output (>2000:1) is a must. The ALF-4 utilizes a single LED module to provide illumination. The ALF has been specifically designed for use where a narrow beam angle is required, for example, in hallways, aisles, or in front of the performance auditorium or at the cinema screen. 

The ALF-4G brings the LED module down below the ceiling with a pivoting gimbal allowing it to be aimed providing the opportunity to highlight architectural elements, artwork, guest speakers, and or panel discussions. The directional down angle is adjustable from zero to 90 degrees.

The ALF-4 and ALF-4G both include an optical element to focus light to approximately a 10 degrees beam angle and are designed to complement the Moving iMage Technologies Architectural Lighting Management System lighting controller.

The Moving iMage Technologies ALF-8 (Architectural Lighting Fixture) is first of its kind 8" LED-based downlight luminaire designed specifically for cinema auditoriums and performance spaces. The ALF-8 is actually two light fixtures in one, it includes two sets of LED elements that may be controlled separately. One set is typically selected for dimming to low levels providing a proper fade to black 1000:1 dimming that performances require while the audience is present. The other LED channel can be used in conjunction providing increased overall more intense lumen output, or for brighter white or use during cleaning. The ALF-8 is designed to complement the Moving iMage Technologies Architectural Lighting Management System lighting controller.

• 1000:1 dimming: Dims smoothly from 100% to less than 0.1% light output.
• Color temperatures 3000K-4000K standard (others by request).

The Moving iMage Technologies Architectural Lighting Sconce (ALS) wall sconce utilizes the same proprietary MiT LED driver and delivers a 2000:1 dimming range just like the acclaimed ALF series of LED downlights. The ALS eliminates the AC requirements of competing sconces with the external low-voltage power supply of 24-30VDC (sold separately) and is controlled with MiT’s ALMS controller or IEC 60929 1.0-10V standard controllers. 

The narrow footprint of the ALS delivers the architectural goal of even light with superior and smooth dimming in an unobtrusive package that can be wall mounted or suspended from a ceiling grid. There are two ALS fixtures to choose from the ALS-1 is a single-channel front-illuminated sconce, while the ALS-2 is a dual-channel that provides direct (front) and indirect (rear) illumination that can be independently controlled. It is recommended that the ALS-2 be mounted 12-14in. From the surface for the most desirable performance.

The Moving iMage Technologies M-Series lighting dimmer is designed specifically for commercial cinemas, theaters, and performance space house lighting with an emphasis on reliability and value. The M-Series units come with front panel manual override and LED indicators for programming, status, and level. The M-Series lighting dimmers are available in 2 and 4 channels supporting up to 9600 Watts of lighting power. The M-series lighting dimmer supports incandescent, fluorescent*, and LED lamps for the ultimate flexibility in your architectural lighting selection. (*Dimmable ballasts required.)
