MiT IMC25 Automation

The Moving iMage Technologies model BP1 is an automation interface to enable a projector IMB to control all the functions in a cinema without additional complicated electronics. The BP1 has no microprocessor or network capability. It’s dumb, simple, and "Bullet Proof."

The I/O to the BP1 is by contact closure. The BP1 accepts commands from the projector IMB and turns them into dry contact relay outputs that go to terminal blocks.

Features:

  • PCB is a drop-in replacement for a JNIOR.
  • Simple digital logic only, no microprocessor, no software.
  • Interconnection with the projector is by regular modular or CAT cables.
  • Dedicated fire alarm input (may be configured for pulsed or maintained modes).
  • LEDs show the status of all relay outputs.

MiT IMC25 Automation

The Moving iMage Technologies IMC25 is a 1 RU customizable standalone automation system for cinema applications. The IMC25 interfaces with the latest generation of cinema projectors, legacy film systems, servers, and audio processors, and supports pre-feature entertainment systems creating a centralized control of your entire auditorium. The IMC25 has a lacing bar to facilitate cable management wiring at the rear. The rack mounting ears may also be removed to facilitate surface/wall mounting.

The IMC25 receives cue commands via Ethernet, GPDI, (or RS-232 with optional accessory) from the cinema show player/server then converts those commands into equipment-specific controls for the projector and audio processor via the Local Area Network (Ethernet) port. Digital inputs and outputs interface with legacy equipment like curtains, masking, dimmers/lighting, magnetic door closures, and other auditorium functions.

Features:

  • 12 General-purpose digital inputs, dry contact, or Network
  • Dedicated Fire Alarm input, compatible with switched voltage or dry contact
  • 16 Relay-driven outputs, with indicator LEDs
  • 1 Ethernet port
  • Optional serial COM port
