DCE-10/20 Exhaust Fan Controller.

The DCE-10/20 is a closed-loop controller for your projector exhaust. The DCE is designed to efficiently control your projector exhaust, on-demand, by managing your airflow and preventing the wasting of conditioned air through your projector when cooling is not needed. This translates to energy savings by managing the conditioned air demand of your projection booth. Depending on the model, the DCE can provide CFM, temperature, and humidity data to your NOC to manage the operating conditions of your projector.

  • In windy, heavy rain storms, protected roof vents can still be inundated by water.
  • Emergency exhaust actuation can prevent some water from reaching the projector.
  • At a minimum, staff can be notified to detach the exhaust in a water-compromised situation.

IS-30 AC Spike Arrestor

The Moving iMage Technologies IS-30 is a specialized AC power spike arrestor and filter conditioner. User-friendly LEDs provide status visibility of AC phases. The IS-30 consists of, an industrial-grade EMI/RFI filter, combined with spike and surge protection components in a unique circuit arrangement that protects and absorbs spikes and surges line-to-ground as well as line-to-line. The IS-30 includes a counter display to indicate the number of power spikes and surges that have been absorbed and eliminated. 

The IS-30 is specifically designed to protect cinema, electronics, and projection systems. The IS-30 is designed to withstand and absorb severe spikes and surges, including those from nearby lightning strikes. In the event of a direct, catastrophic lightning strike, the IS-30 will absorb the hit, sacrificing its internal components and saving your major investment equipment. It incorporates a ‘bypass’ switch that restores power in an unfiltered state, to get the show back on-screen quickly. When the unit is switched to the ‘Bypass’ mode a red LED illuminates as a reminder that spike protection is not in effect.

Note: When used with smaller projectors utilizing 2-pole power, the third pole of the unit may be used to protect other equipment in the auditorium, i.e. automations, servers, audio racks, etc.

The Moving iMage Technologies IS20-2 Power Manager provides AC power distribution, sequential on/off control, and surge suppression all in a single unit.  The IS20-2 is specifically designed to deliver control equipment racks with multiple pieces of equipment that require to be powered on and off on a daily basis. It is ideal for audio and video racks with scheduled operational hours. The IS20-2 features LEDs that indicate the status of all AC phases. The IS20-2 accepts six 20-Amp AC feeds, and routes them through the switching elements, EMI filters, and surge protection stages, then to the output receptacles on the rear panel.

The IS20-2 power-up and power-down sequences are controlled via Ethernet or low voltage, dry contact closure. Additionally, IS20-2 offers expanded digital functionality by giving discrete controls to each circuit, programmable via a simple GUI (Graphical User Interface). The IS20-2 Power Manager should be the heart of your energy management plan.
