With just under 50 employees working behind the scenes in various roles, here are a few of the “movers and shakers” that interface with our client base.

Debra Anita Walker • Director of Purchasing

Debra comes to Moving Image Technologies with 31 years of professional experience.  For 15 years she held the position of Purchasing Manager at Christie.  Instrumental in vendor selection to ensure high-quality, low cost sourcing of products and materials.  She is a member in good standing with NAPM for over 10 years.  Debra holds various certifications in Purchasing and Management including: Small Business Management – Laney Jr. College, Purchasing Management – UCLA, Purchasing Management – University of Phoenix, and Certified Purchasing Manager – NAPM.

Frank Tees • Vice President, Technical Sales & Support

Frank Tees started his cinema career in 1989, serving in most aspects of theater exhibition with Krikorian Premiere Theaters. He spent the past 15 years with the world’s largest exhibitor, Regal Entertainment Group, and since 2002 has been Director of Technical Services for the Southwest Region. He managed a team of technicians in preparation, installation and service of film and digital cinema equipment for 1000 screens in Southern California, Hawaii, Nevada and Arizona. Frank has extensive training on 3D and standard DLP and Sony projection systems and practical experience installing them in an integrated and networked environment. Frank also managed Regal’s technical training program and developed preventative maintenance and tracking guidelines to service systems according to their warranty.

Ernie Estrada • Director of Sales & Project Support

Ernie has been involved in the Cinema Industry since 1999, as a National Sales Manager for Superior Quartz Products Inc. a manufacture of Xenon Short Arc and UV lamps. He was vital in organizing and launching SQP into the North America Cinema Market. He also helped launch the new Xenon Liquid Cool Division for Imax and the Aero Space Industries. He has worked with many Cinema Exhibitors and Space Agencies throughout his career. When the Cinema industry converted to digital Cinema, SQP decided not to make digital lamps and therefore Ernie was asked by Plusrite USA to help them pursue the Cinema Industry. Plusrite USA a manufacture of General & LED lighting moved into the Digital Xenon Lamp Industry in 2012. As VP of Sales, Ernie worked the last six years with Plusrite to get them into the Cinema industry for projection and LED lighting. Prior to the Cinema Industry, Ernie worked for an Orange County Developer as VP of Operations in their property management division. He was responsible for Construction and Building Maintenance for over 2million square feet of Commercial and Retail Properties.
